The concentrators, also called BPI called BPI (Bus Phone Interface),
ensure the data transfer between the Euridis bus and the Front end Communication
server software using a PSTN or GSM connection as the telecommunication support.
The BPIs offer bi-directional communication, permitting the remote reading of the data
collectors or the electronic meter's data. They also allow for remote programming.
This concentrator (BPI G1) offers up to 5 wire Euridis bus connections (1 direct & 5
through Euridis-485 modems). The switching of each bus, between the BPI and the magnetic plug, is automatic.
